I swear that the journey to watch Spring Awakening was littered with obstacles. Minor though they were, they were sent there to hamper my spirits. First of all, I was late meeting Yuri as I was busy revamping my blogskin. So as much as I want to play dress-up, I had to contend with putting minimal make-up and had to settle for a plain skirt n top. My beautiful dress has yet to be ironed. Next, while we were in MRT, at one point of time we were separated (I had to give up my seat), and guess what?? While my iphone addiction kicked in, I only realized that I was supposed to alight at our destination just as the MRT loudspeaker announced, "Doors are closing." I couldn't rush out as I was at the opposite side of the door with tons of people thronging in front of me. I had no choice but to alight at the next station and take a train back at the opposite side. Sorry Yuri for making you wait again. I owe you. Finding our dinner place was fortunately more smooth sailing thanks to GPS (who says technology doesn't enrich your life??). When we arrive at the reception, we (or maybe it's just me) were disappointed to see no cool cut off poster of the show to pose ourselves in (like the one in Aladdin).
See the difference below??

As we were seated, even though I knew beforehand that ours were at the corner instead of the middle section, I was again filled with a slight disappointment. While the show was good, the most annoying part is too keep tilting my head to see the action on stage. I was also momentarily distracted when a latecomer entered about 10 minutes into the show since my seat is very near the door. Arggh. If that is not enough, there was still some leftover drama even after the show. I left my program booklet in the ladies and has to run all the way back from traffic junction. Luckily it was still there and nobody took it. Though I didn't expect anyone to take it unless I left my iphone there. In fact, my utter bad luck did not just stop there. I can't go back to sleep after 4 hours of sleep. Usually I have no problems getting back to sleep but a MAJOR event just happened. My desktop has left this world *CRIES*. Yes, she has indeed died on me. I tried to resurrect it but to no avail. *WAILS HARDER*
