Academic Failures Dedication

To all the students in the world ESPECIALLY The Academic Rejects,

Ever felt that you are the biggest failure in the world bcoz of the constant Cs and Ds and the occassional DREADED F? This is especially True if you live somewhere where academic excellence is Highly Revered. And those left behinds are just Rejects???
Well I usually feel this way when I failed before. Even though some people will just tell you: "Aiya, look at Bill Gates. He never did graduate. And look where he is Now." To which I really feel like replying, "Excuse me, there's only one Bill Gates in this world and his the richest man alive. Who can even compare?"
So let me tell comfort all of You who are just like Me, The Academic Rejects by telling you some anecdotes about my Favourite Author of ALL TIME:
(Drum Rolls Please) Meg Cabot, author of the popular Princess Diaries book.
1.) She failed freshman Algebra TWICE (been there. Done there before. I failed Math before but not in high school)
2.) She graduated from Indiana University in 6 years. (She totally can't graduate if she studies in NUS that force people to graduate in maximum 5 years)
3.) She only get her first book published when she's 30. (See, she finally felt brave enough to pursue what she likes even though there's no guarantee for success. And I'm sure it can happen to us at a certain period of time. Well, I hope so. I certainly don't want to be stuck in a well-paying job if I hate it. Imagine doing something you hate on a continual basis)
4.) She became popular with the Princess Diaries movies when she's 34 (Due to her bravery and her talent, of course, she finally achieve a certain level of success. And success as all can see is NOT Instantaneous)
5.) She is NOT like other lazy authors. She writes like 4-5 books every year. (I guess you can really become hardworking when you really like what you are doing)
6.) And while having the career of her life, she has also found her LOVE of her Life. (career + Prince Charming. What more can a girl want?)

Love you Meg....
Hmm....I feel much better now. I hope you do too.
